The 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. On 21 December 2017, Birmingham was announced as host of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, marking England’s third consecutive time hosting the event. It will be the seventh Commonwealth Games held in the UK, following London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

Commonwealth Games 2022 Sports
Team England will compete against the other 72 Commonwealth nations and territories in 20 different sports at the 2022 Birmingham (2022 Commonwealth Games). In these sports, more medals will be up for grabs for women than for men.
There will also be the largest para-sport program in the history of the Commonwealth Games. Eight para-sports, including athletics, wheelchair basketball, cycling, lawn bowls, para powerlifting, swimming, table tennis, and triathlon, will be on the schedule.
Birmingham will be the first place where women’s T20 cricket, basketball 3×3, wheelchair basketball 3×3, and mixed synchronized diving will be shown.

Commonwealth Games 2022 Cricket
During July and August 2022, at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, there will be a tournament for women who play cricket. It will be the first time cricket has been part of the Commonwealth Games since a List At the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, there was a men’s event.
Women’s Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is) will be used for the games, which will only include a women’s tournament. The tournament will be using the Twenty20 format, and eight teams will make it to the qualifying rounds.
The games will take place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. Even though it was suggested that games be played at the County Cricket Ground in Derby, the New Road in Worcester, and the Grace Road in Leicester, none of these were chosen in the end.
